The Sand lizard

Sand headed lizard (other names: sharp lizard, common lizard; lat. Lacerta agilis) is a species of reptile from the family of lizards (Lacertidae).
It lives in a dry and sunny grassy environment. It has a variable body temperature that changes according to the temperature of the environment. Body temperature is related to its mobility. The warmer it is, the more active it is and moves very quickly. It spends the winter in shelters, does not take food, and breathing is limited to a minimum. It feeds on insects, spiders, earthworms and snails. The male is green with a brown stripe on the back, the female is grey-brown. In danger, it distracts the animals that hunt it by breaking off its tail when touched. After time, her tail will grow. It is protected by law, the social value is €300
